Screen printed fold-out infographic poster of personal statistics documenting student life. Produced as a parting gift for my fellow graduates, the print features 3 years worth of data. Including a wide range of information, such as the total number of near death experiences, the number of shopping trolleys acquired and the total amount of caffeine induced moments of despair.

Promotional Mailer


Promotional mailer for the paper merchant Fedrigoni. The folding paper sample book serves a dual purpose of promoting Fedrigoni's London showroom whilst also showcasing a range of specialist papers. Based around the concept of the infinite possibilities of paper, the mailer features a series of fifteen die-cut concentric circles, creating the illusion of depth when opened by the recipient.

Branding and promotional materials for the freelance music photographer Scott Cross. The logo icon is based on a camera viewfinder and is also a play on words of Scott's surname. A fold-out portfolio business card and a set of postcards were produced as promotional items, to be used as a quick overview of Scott's work when out shooting at venues.

Twisted Firestarter

Experimental Typeface


An experimental typeface created by setting fire to letterforms sculpted from metal wire which was covered in tissue paper and soaked in lighter fluid. Captured at 5 frames a second, over 1,000 images were taken, with around 50 photographs captured for each character. The resulting typeface has not been manipulated by software but is simply made up of the original photographs.

A short publication exploring the digitalisation of culture and the many advances in modern technology that have had a consequent effect on the branding, packaging and distribution of modern music. The digitally focused content of the report is contrasted with the tactile nature of the final printed document.

A collection of creative writing incorporating both poetry and prose. Unconventionally, the front cover opens to the right, which allows the contents page on the inside to be constantly visible to the reader. A provocative cover and the blurry, pinhole photography style imagery throughout the publication, enforces the overall theme of exposure.

A document exploring the subject of insomnia. Frantic, headache inducing patterns and jolted, bright colours are used to give the reader a simulated sense of sleep deprivation. The content is divided into sections and presented clearly, alongside typographic and line art illustrations.

Book Design


A pair of chronological, conjoined books, exploring the connections and parallels between East and West Coast rap music. Each book can be read independently or alongside the other. At certain points throughout the timeline both books will align, creating a full 4 page spread, highlighting a specific connection between the two. The book traces the roots and history of rap music on both sides of US and culminates with the infamous feud between The Notorious B.I.G and 2Pac. Presented in a ghetto-blaster style slipcase.

Who?


I am an ambitious designer creating things with or without computers, mostly alongside a good cup of tea and some rap music.



Everything begins with an idea... regardless of whether it ends up as a piece of print or a screen full of code. With skills in both tactile and digital environments I enjoy experimenting with different tools to create something from nothing.

Currently based in Leeds and working on various freelance and personal projects. I am always seeking new opportunities and collaborations, so be sure to say hello...
